The 300D is replaced with the 350D, so it won't be that easy to find a store which still has 300D's in stock I'm afraid

Nick,

You can try to find an 300D second hand.

Look at the "tweedehands" links on next site:

Good luck,

Indeed, you can try to find a second-hand EOS 300D

here is one: http://forum.belgiumdigital.com/showthread.php?t=120366

There are also some 350D's on the second-handmarket, maybe worth the effort to consider buying that one (if money is the issue). Then you'll have a 8.2 Mp instead of a 6.3 Mp, DIGIC II processor instead of DIGIC I, but the 300D is also a great camera, and if you search a little bit, availabe at 450-500€ in second hand (leaves you more money for a lens ;) )

Buying such a camera is a big investment and it takes time to make a good decision. I know that it took me quite some months to decide which lens I would buy.

Good luck with your search for the 300D. It's a nice cam

There are some brand new and sealed EOS 3OOD on amazon.com, Be careful about the costs of shipping.
Refurbished products are really a good deal too.
