Post by Bottie »

Hi all,

Made a visit to the other side of the channel last week-end, Fairford and London Heathrow. For some great pictures of Fairford made by AirSmetten and Pietn you can see here: viewtopic.php?t=17748

And here's my first batch of London Heathrow:

As I said, this is the first batch. More pictures and logs will follow soon, and some pictures of Fairford will be added the the topic mentioned in the start of this topic.

Awesome, Especially the B747 of BA

Many many thanks for sharing. And yes, if you notice the BMI is somewhat a look alike of the new indian start up Paramount Airways.
Aum Sweet Aum.

Great photos Bottie! :jump:

May I ask you were at LHR you took these photos?

To help indicate where you were standing, you can use the letter for the spot in my LHR spotter guide http://www.plane-spotter.com/Airports/U ... de_LHR.pdf

I suspected that it was spot B since the light is on the right side of the fuselage. I haven't had the fortune with the combination blue sky and 09 operation at LHR, only overcast and rain. On my last visit in April this year the winds came from the west and at spot H I got photos like this with the light on the opposite side:
