BRU 31/07/2006

Post by Avro »

Hello,

This morning I went spotting at the 25L to see some landings. However since I went underneath the flightpath I couldn't dentify the registrations of the planes I saw :( and can't provide more then those few regs:

OLT Metro III D-COLB
Slovak F100 OM-AAC

Could someone maybe help me out with my few requests ?

around 7h11 is the start of the list:

KL F50 (old c/s)
AA B767
Darwin S2000
KL F50 (new c/s)
LH CRJ (with regional tail)
LH CRJ (with LH tail)

Many thanks for the help :)

Greetz

2nd KL F50 was PH-KVK.

Pretty sure someone will come up with the rest. If not, I'll look em up...

Damn, always the nice a/c in weekdays when people have to work.

Brubiac, do you know the reason of the upgrade?

Thanks in advance.

25L down was a nasty surprise for me... I was all alone there, not a spotter in sight... Then I saw the planes go down at 25R. Had to find a spot there. The road between the roundabouts is no option, luckely I found this little road not far from the cemetry... Grey at first, blue skies later on! Some shots!

I think they only carry PAX in Zaventem. Cargo is in Liege

Yes they carry passengers as well.

I also went to see the Iberia 340 this evening. I quickly made two edits so I can share them with you.

Hope you enjoy:

Now that's a priceless sight! Amazing Avro!

Where do you shoot these take-offs from? I drove along 25R today, but I couldn't find a decent spot... or do you just use a whopper of a telelense?

Cheers,

Omag

Indeed, nice shots Avro! Too bad I fell asleep this afternoon (I had my last day student job today - starting at 5 AM, so I was a little tired) so I missed the A340...

@Omag:
The planes were taking off on RWY20, so I think Avro was standing somewhere in Zaventem / Bocht van Nossegem.

Wim

Thanks :)

The Iberia departed on runway 25R !! . They used both runway 20 and 25R for departures.

omag when you come from the spot you were (that is right on the road with the two round abouts along the tower): Take at the traffic lights on your left the Hachtsesteenweg. At the second (I think it's second maybe third) traffic light (It's just after you passed all the cargo) take to the left. drive 300m then walk on a small hill.
