Yesterday, (Saturday) I saw a Biman DC10 on approach in Brussels.

Please stay on the subject! What is the relation between the subject: Biman Bangladesh safety issue and the fact that you saw a Biman DC10 in Brussels?

This was just my reaction to the previous post which stated that Biman would suspend its flights to Brussels and New York. But if you prefer: I haven't seen anything and you can remove my post.

Today's flight was cancelled. For operational reasons? Technical reasons? Financial reasons?

arr 05/08 Dhaka via Dubai BG 011
scheduled arrival 17:25
cancelled

dep 05/08 New York BG 011
scheduled departure 18:55
cancelled

First there are finacial problems, then safety problems occur.
I guess
a- the BG a/c aged too much
b- FAA certification wasn't worth the value of the frame?
c- revenue does not cover cost
d- money for maintenace lack

All that might impact on flight safety, so we're back on topic, webmaster, Sir.

Note BG made arrangements with EK, I suppose they get some royalties, or at least some 'overriding' commission for sales on these EK lines?
(Sorry only guestings and suppositories ) Ctrl and +
