Eurocontrol information

Post by petty »

Does any of you guys knows what happens if you do not pay your eurocontrol fees.

Can your plane be grounded for that reason, or even worse, can other planes of your fleet be seized by eurocontrol?

tnx for the information :)

Yes, that is possible. It happend with VG-Airlines, the owners of the aircrafts took the aircrafts fast away from EBBR because there were some bills not payed by CG to Eurcontrol. I that was not the case than the aircrafts would be grounded until the bill was payed. If Eurocontrol don't allow an aircrft to take off, if there are bills not payed, it can not fly because there is no other airtraffic controler.

Wasn't that airline that started opperations this year in Berlin with a single MD83 an example of this? There is a topic on this forum about this, but I don't know the name of the airline anymore.
