Zidane, bleu, blanc,.... rouge

Post by SN30952 »

Zidane sees second red in Worldcup.
In 1998 he also got red for kicking a Saudi under the grass.

France-Arabie Saoudite (groupe C) : 4-0
La France passe au vert, Zidane s’arrête au rouge
That year there was also a Blanc playing..
This year it is bleu for Marco Materazzi, rouge for Zidane.

What a shame, champ...

It seems that we have not seen the whole story on the TV.

Materazzi performing this evening:

Then Zidane reacted " à la Cantona"

By the way: doesn't this topic belong in 'The Luchtzak Pub'? Not that I mind it being here, but I was searching for it in the Pub and couldn't find it...

Wishing you all an extremely sunny day!

Man: You haven't really understood the football goal.

Allez les Bleus !!!

Zidane has been elected "Best player of the World Cup" despite his head butt.

Tete a tete between Jacques and Zinedine

Post by SN30952 »

Chirac forgives Zidane 'the virtuoso' for his World Cup madness writes Henry Samuel in Telegraph, about the Algerian French footballer and the President, who set the tone of forgiveness:
"You are a virtuoso, a genius of world football..... et blah blahh"
read it by yourself.

Luckily the tete a tete between Jacques and Zinedine - see picture in the link- ended only with a handshake.

Although, an ending as last Sunday, would have made also a nice picture???

"Materazzi, ti spacco la faccia"

Very crassy, indeed.

Post by SN30952 »

An other newspaper title today:
Bringing world crass soccer...

A good joke for people that cannot pronounce the "R".
Apart from English anarchist punk rock band, crass means: adj behaving in a way that shows you do not understand other people's feelings, or care about them...

Very crassly, indeed.

Zidane declared this evening that Materazzi told him harsh words about his mother and sister and that he had no regrets for what he has done. He has made excuses to all the spectators and children.

The interview is only in french sorry guys:

I have found a great footage of the previous Materazzi's agressions and Materazzi's history doesn't just take30seconds and 2 red cards. I think he didn't steal it. :frantic:
