Blair is unpopular as it us, and unfortunately the Americans aren't that popular either. The plane will be an Airbus, or a Bombarider made in Belfast. Bleugh (Blair) knows that he has no hope if he buys American not British. Although he will not be standing at the next general election, he will have no hope within government if he buys American.

Are you sure about that? I have heard on many occasions that the Atlantic Ocean is smaller then the English Channel when it comes to the British and American peoples.

People yes, but not politically. A lot of people are angry with Bush and Bleugh about Iraq. Also, the Atlantic is bigger than the M4 Motorway to Wales where the wings for Airbuses are built
As much as I like Boeings (not that I don't like Airbus) I think that it will be a RR/IAE powered Airbus, probably an A330-200.
