Restructuring CSA

Post by PAA »

CSA is the next airline undergoing a major restructuring. After solid performances (+ 10M€ profits in 2003,2004), the national airline posted cumulated losses (up to 17m€). it is now engaged in a major restructuring plan: sell-out the cargo units & hangars, sell-out catering business units and duty free shops activities. CSA is looking for investors for these businesses -up to you!

Restructuring also includes new long-range planes. Up to 6 units.

Is selling out those activities really the solution ? I mean I suppose that CSA is loosing money with it's flight operations no ?

If yes then selling the cargo, catering, hangars, shops etc.. will only be a temporary boost of their capital and won't be a long term solution as long as they don't do something with their flight operations.

I wish them good luck though.
