50.000.000 pageviews!

On 20th May 2005, luchtzak.be had 20.000.000 pageviews.

At the April 2006 average of 112.000 pageviews per day, we can celebrate again on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning!

Thanks for the cheers and the hurrays! To be honest the 50.000.000 pageviews don't say much, unique visitors that's what counts

A more important milestone for me is the 5 years of existence on the 30th of November this year! 8)

FYI a major upgrade of the website is scheduled in the next months, I am programming the whole lot right now easy-going. Don't have much time left nowadays

Can anyone explain the following that I found in today's stats:

Busiest Month: May 2006 (3714172 pageviews)
Busiest Day: 1 June 2006 (198922 pageviews)
Busiest Hour: 08:00 - 08:59 on June 7, 2006 (23303 pageviews)

Apparently, during the last week, all possible records were broken! Is there any particular reason why luchtzak had so many pageviews today in the period from 8 until 9a.m.?
Doesn't really makes sense to me, but if correct, really good news!

Bart, you mentionned that the number of unique visitors is far more important, but can you give us an idea of the order of magnitude, just out of curiosity...

At this pace, luchtzak is getting 1 million hits every week! Quite impressive if you ask me, and not possible without the devotion of an excellent team...

Well mister curious, here it goes:

last month (May 2006) 105.654 unique visitors surfed on www.luchtzak.be (not coppermine or another subdomain). They brought 200.592 visits and watched 1.562.789 pages. On a daily May 2006-basis an average of 6.470 unique visitors where welcomed with a maximum of 10.250 on the 5th of May.

Yesterday 6.935 and the day before 7.056 unique visitors.

Do you want more stats?
