Does Singapore Airlines Need a New Livery?

Post by nwa757 »

I was thinking the other day that, Singapore Airlines' livery and logo looks dated. Do you think that it is time for a change?

I like the SQ livery and I also think SQ will not change their livery in the next few years, as they are making publicity as the "First airline to fly A380" in the current livery (remember one of the Airbus Industrie A380's painted in full SQ c/s for a local airshow / event some months ago). Livery changes are mostly done when a new (modern generation) type of aircraft enters the fleet (f.e. NW when first A330 entered, KLM when first B744F entered, Aeroflot when first A32S entered, Airbus Corporate Livery when first A380 rolled out,...) remarking an important step in the airline's history.

Regards, Robin Bamps.

Yes, but not that much. All it needs is a little bit of freshening up, like the difference in the 2 liveries on the SNBA A333s

I guess they are great as they are......

Any change will loose its nostalgic value too.

They are simple, sober and i feel focussed as of now.

It could use an upgrade, but they should keep the classy style...
