Aer Arann launches 2 new routes from Nantes

Aer Arann won't launch Angers but have started new services from Nantes in Western France to Macnhester and Cork, with ATR72, 3x/week for each destination.

35th and 36th scheduled destination for Nantes Atlantic airport, 15th and 16th international!

They should hire a good route planner and a good press advisor, since they are anoucing routes, and the dropping them before they start, while starting other routes...

Ah well, as long as they make money and keep those planes flying

No, for Angers it seems that it was an operational problem at Angers airport. Aer Arann flights were diverted to Nantes Atlantique airport since April 29th, and today the airline announced that it will stay at Nantes, dropping Angers.

The press, Cork airport director and also customers seems to be delighted by this news, coz Angers is a microscopic airport with nearly no commercial traffic serving a medium city, while Nantes is the 6th french metropolis and an airport recording nearly 2,200,000 passengers a year, serving a very touristic region near the Atlantic coast and a big economic pole. So much more interest for economic and touristic links.

But it's true that Aer Arann made some communication mistakes last monthes! Liege announcements were not very clear, for example...
