Again twice weekly SN flights to kigali

Post by teddybAIR »

Happy to say we can start this week with good news on belgian aviation:

According to the bellow article, SN will restart their twice weekly operations to Kigali. The concerned operations where ceased in february of this year after the Rawandese governement grounded an SN aircraft at Kigali. This grounding was a reaction to the grounding of a Silverback aircraft at BRU. Allthough the Belgian governement released the Silverback plane, it is now on the European blacklist.
Thanks to diplomatic efforts, the operations will be started up again soon. This event costed a lot to SN, mainly in terms of loss in cargo income.

Hi all,

Does anyone know if SNBA lost pax due this temporary suspension of the flights?

At the same time, no other European carrier is flying there isn't it?

Regards,
Danny
