Like some people do in their streets.
A nice action to show the public that we respect the enviroment and the rules.
Ehm..this will be quite emberassing... :? I think the sign idea is better. But do we need permits to put trash bins and signs there? And even that will take quite a bit of work: emptying the trash cans...

what's embarrassing about that?

Offcourse, you are still young and I can imagine how uncool it looks if your friends see you cleaning garbage... But just putting signs isn't gonna solve the problems, we should give the good example and clean too...

And by the way... There is nothing uncool or embarrassing about cleaning up some trash, trust me...

Well. Not just signs, but especially the trash cans. There are none there, so there is no place to put your garbage. I think we should put together some money and buy trash cans and maintain them. And reguarly clean up the garbage, too... But I still don't really like the idea of cleaning up someone elses garbage (bad memories...) I think we need a permit for the trash cans tough.

Yeah and we're all going to do that for yeaaaars. Be realistic guys: you can't maintain such a project as it are always the same spotters who throw their trash, and always the same people who really care about the hobby and someone else's property.

It's very hard, and I really detest it to say but: "it's life", as been said by another member.

Thats A point 2 i have seen things like that 2 they stop look to 1 aircraft and if they drink or something they put it on the ground and leave so it isn't always the spotters

trash bags would be a good idea for all the times

hi all

why pay for trash cans?
hive an 'voorstel'* to the 'burgemeester' *
for an small place for spotters where we can see the planes but where we can lose our garbage in trash cans or something?

then they can't complain anymore....

(*sorry my english is not good already:?)

It's not so simple like that. You can't bought trash cans on our own and put it on some places.

This is only possible for companies or communities or the local government.

And who will be responsible for that, will you do this for many, many years?????? It's nice for a month but after that, the majority will stop.

But it's very simple, if there are spotters who are going to spot for some hours, take a simple plastic back and put your trash in that back and put it away when you arrived at home. It's simple and no effort.

But don't get me wrong, its a noble idea. But like many things no change to be a success. Be realistic.

Trash cans sounds good but:
-There are many places to spot ----> many trash cans are required
-We are spotters ----> do you think that the gouverment buy trash cans for spotters only? (you must admid,93% of the people there are spotters)
-the road next to 25L is a Private road ---> the owners of the fields must buy trash cans then,do you think they would do that fur us?.....
-This road is not a route for a garbage vehicle ----> the garbage vehicle must drive an other route, don't think they would do that...
-...............

Atlantis has the best solution I think  Just put you're garbage in an own bag and take it with you....Simple but the best!
