Well, i was talking about spotting at EBBR for a long time, and my father suggested to go Saturday 29th of April.
Well i thought that was a fine plan
So around 6 in the morning we´re driving to Brussels.
It was a 2½ hour drive, so after a while i got bored, and fell asleep.
When i woke up we allready past Antwerp...
We´re heading for Kortenburg, so its not that far anymore...
When we arrived there was another spotter photographing the arrivals on 25L.
Not long after our arrival in Kortenburg, i started taking pictures of the arrivals on 25L :

Inter Air Fokker F-100 :

After that i thought it was a good time to get something to eat, so i got in the car and had some bread with cheese
When i got out of the car, a Croatia Airbus A319 was coming in on 25L, so i photographed it :

It did´nt take long before the Finnair A319 came in on 25L :

10 minutes later, this Lufthansa Airbus A321 came in :

Then i started to walk closer to the HIALS, and saw this nice place on a small path, where i photographed this SAS MD83 :

Then i started talking with another Spotter, who told me that an Etihad A330 was coming in for landing on 25L, and 5 minutes later, i photographed it :

Not long after that arrival, and Virgin Express Boeing 737-400, JetAirFly Boeing 737-800 and SN Avrojet came in :

Then the other spotter told me that there was a runway change ; T/O Runway 07R, Landing Runway 02.
I asked the spotter how to get to runway 02, so we ( my father and i ) started to go to runway 02, we got lost three times, so it took us 1 hour to get from runway 25L to runway 02
While we were trying to find runway 02, i saw a Virgin Nigeria A320 :

When we arrived at runway 02, the sight of the low flying aircraft was great, we walked around a fence, and i started photographing here :

Then we continued following the fence, untill we came near a small hill, from there, we´ve got a great view at runway 02, and runway 07R.
Not long ago ( I think 1½ minute ) an Asiana Boeing 747 landed on 02, and when we arrived, i could still smell the burned rubber

Well this is certainly not the last time i´ve been spotting on Brussels, i will return

I'm really glad you enjoyed it.
Although the traffic is low sometimes I still always like to go there.

you even managed to find one particular spot real fast.
The one next to RWY02.

I use to think not so much spotters but some insiders etc... knew that spot.

It's nice to see you enjoyed your first spotting day in Brussels. I hope you'll come back in the future eventhough the traffic isn't as dense as in Schiphol

yesterday at the lufthansa technik hangars there was a Virgin Nigeria A320

Yes i photographed it, but 5 minutes after i left there, i saw the police talking to 3 other spotters who were taking pictures of the Virgin Nigeria, so i did´nt know if i can place them??

Yesterday, when I was waiting on my bus around 6 o'clock, I saw a DC-10 Biman Bangladesh. Can somebody confirm it? I thought that they leave BRU for MAN. No? And I can't find there timetable on the website of BIAC.

Saw BG as well, took off W bound after 1930LT.
