You've got some great talent. I'm not an artist but I did take a few shots of A/C with my digital camera and downloaded them to Microsoft Paintbrush. From there I blacked out the backgrounds and placed my own paint scheme on them to depict my own (made-up) airline. I'd post them but being computer alliterate doesn't alow me to figure out how to do so.

...my icon, however, is the tail of my Boeing 777, N771MU.

Absolutely brilliant!!!

Do you paint in any other medium apart from gouache (I like painting myself, but I'm not as good as you are, and I've never used gouache).

Yes I use also oil and pencils for drawings.
Gouache is quite easy to paint, similar to watercolor but more opaque what gives you lots of possibilities.

Thanks for comments:)

Yes of course:) I am working currently on few new projects and will update soon.

One of them will be A345 of Air Canada - commisioned by person from Canada;)
The other one RAF's Hawk in unusual "Dragon" scheme.

I am glad you like my paintings VC10:)

Greg

Very nice, wish I could paint like that.
Especially the clouds and skies. Very realistic. 8O

Greg,
If you ever happen to do an original Piedmont Airlines DC-3 one day, let me know... I'd love to buy a copy.

ryanvsnow,

Thanks a lot for many kind comments:)

Do you have any source of info/photographs of Piedmont Airlines DC-3?
I consider to paint some classic and it will be great to have some clue:)
If you fancy original work of mine we can discuss this further:) ...

Best regards,
Greg
