TF- B747 @ AMS 7/04

Post by michael_skypower »

Hi all,

When arriving at Schiphol on 7/04 with PH-AHY (arke fly) I noticed a B747 with a dark blue tail, no scheme...and titles on its side...it was parked next to the L1011...

Any ideas?

thanks

I was @ AMS on 05/04 and at that time, there were 2 747's in the vicinity of the L-1011. One was the damaged Surinam Airways 747 and the other one was the Air Universal 747 JY-AUA (without tailmarkings). My guess is that you are referring to the Air Universal.

This could be an Atlas Air, but I don't know which one.......

It can't be the JY-AUA. At the moment Air Universal JY-AUB is at SPL in front of a hangar, so you must have seen this one.
