Silverback loses $7.000.000 after Brussels' grounding

Silverback loses US$7m

The decision by the Belgium Civil Aviation Authority to ground a Rwandan registered cargo airliner, the Silverback, in Belgium for alleged non-compliance of flight standards seven months ago has caused the company a loss of US $7 million.

luchtvaartnieuws quotes another amount: 3,3 milion euros for grounding one of the 2 DC-8s owned by the company...

They are even proceeding against the fact that they are placed on the european blacklist.

And how much is SNBA still loosing now because they dont fly to Rwanda anymore?

how can they loose 7 million dollars? If they would have had that amount of money, they wouldn't use a museum DC-8.

And how much is SNBA still loosing now because they dont fly to Rwanda anymore?
If they just wouldn't fly to Rwanda it would even be better because now they have to lease an aircraft (of Rwandair Express I believe) to do the flight to Rwanda. Imagine what losses SNBA makes because of that!

The funny part of all is that stories goes by that SNBA wants to take over Rwandair!!
