Lufthansa back to Bahrain
From May 1st LH will begin oeprating thrice weekly A330-300 routed Frankfurt-Bahrain-Abu Dhabi, BAH was suspened in mid 90's.
Gulf Air can't be too happy about it...
It seems their trouble never ends. While Emirates and Qatar Airways are expanding like anything, they have one unfortunate news after another. Firstly new competition from Etihad, and then Abu Dhabi govt decides to pull out and I watched on BBC Middle East Business report, some Omani official saying, they too will leave the airline once Oman Air is capable of operating long haul flights.
But terrific news for Lufthansa nevertheless. Why did they suspend flights to Ba\AH at the first place btw?
