BRU 18/03/2006: eta OO-DWD?
Hi all,
It seems that Saturday 18th March will be a fantastic spottersday. First, the BRU Convention and afterwards some spotting at RWY 02 (?) with the nice and sunny weather as extra bonus 8) . Me and my brother will be there as well and we would like to see the SN aircraft with special Atomium 2006 stickers. Could someone give us the eta's of this plane? Thanks in advance! And of course, I will post my log and some pictures at the end of the day.
Greetings,
Airborne

Hi Airborne,
This Saturday, I'm flying with my wife and my 4 children to Monastir on flight TU 783, leaving Brussels at 11.20 a.m. The plane should be either a 737-500 (or 737-600) or a A320.
Could you (or any other spotter) make a picture of the plane?
It's always nice to see a picture on the net of a plane you were actually flying in.
It happened to me twice before : on A.net is a picture of OO-TUC just after landing in Varadero on February 9, 2005 (actually the first commercial flight of OO-TUC for TUI, OO-TUC got stuck a few hours later in Cancun, but that's another story...), and a picture of a DutchBird 757 landing in BRU in march 2004. I was on both planes...
Many thanks in advance

Hi Airborne,
Thanks for the picture!!
It was indeed TS-IMN to Monastir, and I was indeed on the plane.
I returned this morning for Monastir, in TS-IMI (arrival 10.30 a.m.).
I'm not really impressed by the quality of Tunisair's service, and I must say the purser on this morning's return flight was really impolite towards passengers.
Boarding this morning in Monastir was a disaster, it took 1h20 minutes to get past passport control. It took almost 5 minutes per person the check the ID's and passports; and this for people leaving the country... Even the identity of my 6-months old baby-boy was checked in the computer... "Rien à signaler" said the screen, what a surprise to me...
Security afterwards was a rush, as they seemed to realise that everybody would be getting late to board the plane.
No coordination in boarding, it was a complete mess. Everybody got stuck in the entrance of the plane, and the purser was just yelling "Continuez s.v.p."; but how can you do that when everybody stand upright in the aisle??
Might be writing a trip report about this later on, now I'm too tired..
Best regards
