Sixth new A320 for thomas cook Airlines

Post by Atlantis »

Like the title says, TCA will receive in a couple of months a sixth new A320.

TCA is a very healthy company and they need a new aircraft to increase capacity. After holidays, TCA is also flying for companies, VIP's etc.
Thomas Cook will also increase on holiday destintaions.

With this new aircraft, TC will attract more cockpit and cabin employees.

Wasn't Thomas Cook Belgium supposed to get two ex-Onur Air A320's, namely TC-OAC and TC-OAD?

Perhaps forum member Fuji-Monster could tell us a little more about the future fleet plans of TCB?

Frederic

Hi,

Will BRU be the base station for the sixth aircraft?

Some questions to answer.

New destinations like Tivat and they are going to fly some scheduled flights from LGG like Barcelona, Palermo.

The sixt aircraft will be based at Bru.

I have no info about the origin of the aircraft.

As an ex- employee of FQ I can mention that the sixt "new" aircraft will be an old one. Something like OO-TCK-L-M or even worse than those 3 together. The flights from Liege will be flown by TNT.

We already known that the sith aircraft could be an ex-Onur air one. We are speaking in the context of a "new" aircraft in this fleet. But worse than the other ones is a little bit an overreaction.

We are careful with comments of ex-employees, most of them are not positive to the company we are speaking.

From the link Airbuske gave us ...

OO-
A320-212
C/N : 313
Thomas Cook Belgium AL
ex TC-OAC (Onur Air)
On order 2005

and

OO-
A320-212
C/N : 345
Thomas Cook Belgium AL
ex TC-OAD (Onur Air)
On order 2005

Looking at the data above I think it will be one of those two aircraft. The transaction was probably delayed for some reason. Anyway, good to see TCW adding another airvcraft to the fleet !

Greetz,

Number 6 will be MSN425, currently operated by Hellas Jet for VOLARE WEB.

And although K,L,M are older aircraft, they are technically ok.
