Spotting at CDG

Hello,
In order to plan some spottingtrip around Europa in the coming month's I have a question here.
I reading that spotting in the CDG is becoming very difficult.
I know that the nice place near the Meteobuilding is closed now, but are there other obstructions ?

Now, the place I was talking about was just near the Franch Meteo Office building. In front of the first CDG terminal (round one) and with view of 09L and its taxiways

Gents,

Spotting using binoculars is fine, from th eembankment near to the Hilton (not to be confused with the 'mound') Photography is a definate NO from anyplace. Le Bourget has had panelling added to the fence in various places making it very difficult but the terrace at Orly is still open,

This new year brings a lot of changes ! A new prefectoral decree makes our hobby harder to practice. Taking pictures is now forbidden at CDG.

We are very sad to inform you that now France, Land of Freeddom, is become more restrictive about our hobby.

Due to a new prefectoral decree, taking pictures of anything from the public area to the restricted one is strictly forbidden.

You risk about 350 euros of amende

For the moment, binoculars are not listed, but we are not able to garantee you that you will be allowed to use them end stay along border fences.

Just got a message from a German friend, who went on a spottingtrip last weekend at CDG. He could use every spottingplace as before. Police was driving around but there was no intervention. Even at the moment that they were taking pictures. So ...

Hi Tony,

I'm a little confused: where is the Hilton spot exactly? As the Hilton is close to the mound (from where we spotted in 2004).

How can you reach that 'embankment'?

An official prohibition of taken pictures ... in a free country as France.

If so, on what spots did you take them?
