But once again: what is the relevance of posting that OO-TUC had 45 minutes delay two days ago?

Perhaps we can start a topic about "Your favourite delayed flight"? Or "Game: how many delays for OO-TUC in March 2006"?

Delays are normal when you only have one plane to operate your longhaul schedules. Whenever you have one big delay, you will feel the consequences for several days. When you have only one (or a few planes) to operate one (tight) schedule, you will encounter delays when something happens. This doesn't count only for TUB, but also for SN (A333) and BMI (three A332 + a B763), only to give two examples.

What if OO-TUC arrives with 20 minutes delay tomorrow? Post that as well?

There are too many useless postings being made, that is my point.

Come on Frederic, you as administrator, you are supposed to have some knowledge according humanity. Don't you see that ehamspotter is enthousiast (wich is the case with some other members, you know wich ones I mean). He tried to make a contribution, in wich he failed (subject to discuss imo) but hé: to fail isn't a shame...

I agree with you that there are a lot of useless postings, but please don't react against only one person. As there are many others who are posting rubbish sometimes. If it disturbs you so much, start a topic about it with some idea's from other ("crew"-) members...?

That is my point.

This is strange: this morning, the plane came in from the Dominican Republic too early (viva TUB!), but the next flight, to Hurghada, is delayed:

I was at Brussels almost a whole day.
I saw that people from Sabena Technics were working
on the right engine for more than 2 hours.

Seems BRU-HRG-BRU is/was OK today, as TUC is coming in with the same delay as at departure.

Furthermore, Sabena Techbnics gets an extra 8 hours Sunday night: TUC comes in at 01h28, and next flight is at 09h20.

yep, the Thomsonfly 767 has left on time (= in Jetair's vocabulary):

Flight is now also announced as BY 820 (BY = brittannia = thomsonfly)

... and delayed : 12h30 (scheduled dep was 11h45)

Oh, it's quite easy: OO-TUC, who had already kind of engine troubles last week, came in from Hurghada early on Monday morning (Sunday night) and went into technical.

G-OBYH, a seven year old 767-300ER from the big TUI-family, was already called in, and is now flying for Jetair.

The latest replies are about G-OBYH's detour via it's home page East Midlands Airport. Perhaps we can organise a poll: what would you like: a direct flight with OO-TUC, or one with G-OBYH and an extra stopover in EMA?

(Euh: Wednesday's return flight Varadero-Cancun-Brussels, BY820 alias TUB8208, will make an additional stopover at... Nottingham).

I may have to dissapoint those who are eager for some spectacular plots...

OO-TUC has gone into a long scheduled C-check and is replaced by a Thomson-aircraft.
VRA-CUN flights have to be operated via the country where the aircraft is registered, just as is the case for the Thomas Cook flights (Martinair) to VRA-CUN : Brussels-Amsterdam-VRA-CUN.

The flights to Punta Cana and Puerto Plata fly directly from Brussels.

Furthermore - apart from the tight schedule - there is no more "going on".
Sure, is not pleasant for the passengers. But this does not mean one has to jump to too "easy" conclusions, such as :
