Egyptair incresases frequency to JFK,LHR,JNB,FCO..

The Egyptian carrier increased frequency to some cities starting March as follows:

JFK : From 5 weekly flights to 6 weekly on B777
expected to be daily in 2007 .

LHR : From 7 weekly to 8 weekly , adding an A320
flight on Wednesday along with the daily
B777 .
This is in addition to the weekly service from
Luxor to London on B777 and Sharm El- She-
ikh to London on A320/321 .

JNB : From 2 weekly to thrice a week on A332 .

FCO : From 6 weekly to daily flight on A32X

Besides , the Egyptian government is thinking about selling 20% of Egyptair stakes to the public and to hold the remaining 80% to facilitate negotiations with lenders regarding financing new Aircraft purchases ,that's what Mr. Ahmad Shafik ( the Egyptian minister of civil aviation )announced lately .
He also added that the Airline will add 20 more Aircraft within the coming year and a half , which will increase the number of the Airline's Aircraft from 32 to 52 .
