Embraer Phenom business jets

In November 2005, Embraer has announced a new series of executive jets, the Phenom 100 and the Phenom 300. Embraer recently announced a mock-up tour for the family in the US. A mock-up is a full-scale model, allowing the visitors to fully experience the comfort, space and luxury of the cabin and cockpit.

The Phenom series combine outstanding comfort with excellent performance and low operating costs. The cabin has very large windows and has the most ample cabin in its class. It comes with a toilet, refreshment center, wardrobe and satellite communications.

The Phenom 100 can carry up to 4 passengers up to 1320 nautical miles far. It operates at a maximum of Mach .7 at 41.000 feet. Expected to enter service in 2008. Price-tag: $2.75 million.

The Phenom 300 will be carrying up to 9 people up to 1800 nautical miles far. It operates at a maximum of Mach .78 at 45.000 feet. It is expected to enter service in 2009. Price-tag: $6.65 million.

Very nice indeed!

Interior design/styling is done by the BMW Group. They also did the concept design on the A380 - you know, the popular images with the stylish bar and rotating red & gray business seats.

The legacy will stay ... The Phenom is a small Bizjet compared to the Legacy ...
