Had a rather good week in the Machloop

, monday and thuesday there where sunny moments, but wednesday was already much darker and thursday it was just to bad to stay up there

came down round noon.
friday i didn't even try to go up ; it was -4° on the carpark, and wind was blowing horrible together with snow and ice, cloudbase must have been no more than 30 meters

never the less ; could make sum good shots that made my week dancing

this one in particular was already whorth the trip

the last week of April i intend to go back banana i hope weather is a bit warmer by then

Wow, wish I could go there once. Really nice to see a Typhoon in action between the mountains. is it difficult to get there? because it's not your first time you've been there. and I guess you wouldn't go back if you cant get there easy.

not at all

it's just 700 km's

just get a OS (Ordnance Survey) map n° 124, and along the A487 and A470 you can find the spots where to take this kind of pics

the spots i used are all located near "P" signs along these routes, so easy to go to, but there are others

just keep sum elementary "spotter rules" in mind (no trespassing on private ground, don't leave garbitch,...) and you can have a great time there
