Now that is a big mistake. The basic question was if anyone could give information about flights that are connected to the CIA story. A normal question, and 100% about aviation.
Than some people start to say we should not talk about that.
But this is a website about aviation! So we can talk about some nice pictures of an odd flight. But we cannot say that the airplane is related to a story.
Next time that an Ilyushin lands at Brussels, we say that it is the transportation of somebody from Russia with the name Putin. But we will not more say he is the president. Because that is a political statement.
Complete nonsense.
So , back to the main question: where are the data of the flights connected to the CIA story?

some comments where way too political and have been removed. They were not stating that "terrorists" were transported on a CIA flight which had been loged in ANR. It went way beyond that and they had to be removed. Case closed
Why don't we leave the political aspects of this subject to an appropriate political forum somewhere else.
If the passengers on those flights are not deplaning in Antwerp, or any other intermediate point, why should the airport authority care. The country of the originating flight and the destination country should take care of the passengers.

Okay, no problem. In this case the airport authority must know the origin of the plane and its destination. If that is too much asked, there is a problem. And if an authority asks a question it must be answered correctly. What if the provided information turns out to be incorrect - read " lies" ?
Another problem arises if such a plane has to make an emergency landing. How will they solve that problem? Will belgian police take custody of arrested people? Or will embassy people of that foreign nation come to take care of all the passengers?
They better be open about it. One day or the other the government will have to answer unpleasant questions.

Another very serious problem is abuse of power. In many western countries (UK, USA, Netherlands, Belgium) we have seen that military personell used military transport planes to smuggle drugs. Specifically the cocain flights of the dutch airforce were on an industrial scale.
How can we prevent that if we are not allowed to control planes?

drugs indeed can make people write things that are very strange...regi wrote:Another very serious problem is abuse of power. On July 20, 2002, a Gulfstream III private jet has made a stopover at Antwerp airport
One source reveals : Gulfstream III - N829G was in EBAW on 20/7/02:
There is a possibility it was a Learjet 35A - N221SG: foto :Het vliegtuig dat volgens The New York Times gebruikt werd voor de bekritiseerde uitzetting van de Syrische Canadees Maher Arar, was vaker in Nederland.

Or maybe that plane was on a other date on EBAW or BRU or CRL.
Someone has more info about this two planes, log or picture-data ?
More info
Saturday, 11/03/2006, it was revealed that the CIA has some storage capacity in Deurne. It is possible it's a dispatch centre for Europ for their material.
So there must be flights on a regular basis to serve that facility.
Anyone an idea wich planes are involved?

Yes, maybe it would affect our hobby. But when our hobby is affected by this, a lot of other things would be affected . I found this very powerful :
Here I'm only interested in the very nature of this (excellent) forum : technical data, logs and photo's. I'm not letting anybody exercise any intimidation over me.
I do not mean harm, I'm just bringing forward my point of view.

I will not further discuss this here, because the matter is discussed on more dedicated forums.regi wrote: I do certainly want to know about it what kind of airplanes land at Antwerp. Why should it not be reported? Fascism starts when we turn our heads and say we didn't know about it.
