yeah but TIV serves BudvaJAT_boy_BEG wrote:no, Budva and TIV are too different airports which have two different IATA codes:
QBA - Budva
TIV - Tivat
Also, the new summer timetable is out and JAT is getting CRJ's i think it was.
I still have no confirmation on if JAT has their B762ER's that they were looking for, but have heard that they have been looking in Middle East for B762ER's.

There is no connection...
...between ex-AirMaxi and Centavia except that both domains have been registrated by me. Way too many rumors and too few facts.

QBA is a code used for bus connections from TIV/TGD to Budva long time ago. It is not used for more then 20 years I think. There is much more such codes which JAT had used very long time ago for bus connections in former Yugoslavia, now they are not used at all.
There is no any airport in Budva.
I think there is no any airport with the code begining with Q, X or Z in Serbia and Montenergo, if you see some begining with one of these letters then it is bus station meant with it.

After all the talk and excitement generated by the jat boys in reference to this topic, it looks that jat wont be flying to North America with the B762 aircraft or any other aircraft at the planned date!
Its the 26th of May now and there is no B762 or flights to North America!
You jat boys should be ashamed of yourselves for not keeping us all informed with the latest updates about jats B767s and North American dreams!
I heard there could be a new attempt in October to fly to North America.

The new attempt is in October as reports say. The main reason why Jat Airways didn't get rights to fly to the USA was because of political issues between the two countries. To my knowledge Jat found the aircrafts they were about to lease and even sent their cabin crew on training. Now they plan to start in October and will immediately get 2 B767-200

Well, SerbiaMontenegrin government had been asking FAA to re-asses SerbiaMontenegro since last year, atleast 10 months ago. has this happened? no. when will it happen? in September!!!!!! So it is not JAT that is the problem it is FAA!!!
JAT has said that as soon as Serbia is given FAA CAT I, JAT will immidiately lease 2 B762ER a/c, and will begin flights to JFK, YYZ, ORD and possibily SIN by October. JAT has been given all rights to fly to Canada. Yes, JAT did lease a B762ER from Polet, but this lease has been cancelled. Yes, JAT did send a team of F/A's and they were trained in Sweden and have returned all successfully trained. They are in BEG waiting for their new job as F/A's on the B762's of JAT.
JAT was all ready for flights to YYZ but it is not worth doing 2 flights p/w and for the rest have the a/c sitting at the airport. costs too much money.
JAT is desperately wanting to return to it's trans-atlantic routes, but it is being happered by FAA. ORD, CLE, LAX, JFK, Detroit are all possible route for JAT and all former JAT destinations in the USofA. In my opinion, i beleive that JAT should at the same time look at getting rights to fly to other countries like Thailand, China, Malaysia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Singapore. they could combine YYZ and a SE Asian destination untill they get FAA CAT I.

Well sounds like JAT plans to this time lease 2 B762's. I knew JAT had plans to lease 1 B762 in March, then another in October, but since everything is put off because of the FAA CAT II on SerbiaMontenegro, can't wait to know what happens next.
Did JAT ever paint a livery on that B762 that they leased? Aparently it was in France getting re-fitted and re-painted, and that the new JAT livery was to be painted on the a/c.

The Polet aircraft never got the livery because officials from Jat had to visit the aircraft first. Just before they were to do that they realised there is no point in going there if they can’t actually fly the aircraft to the United States.JAT_boy_BEG wrote:Well sounds like JAT plans to this time lease 2 B762's. Does this mean that JAT have a livery to be put onto the aircraft?
Well, we will have to wait till September to see what will happen. This should be when SerbiaMontenegro goes into FAA CAT I.....hopefully.
Is there anyway that JAT could get their a/c U.S registration to their B762s so that they can fly to JFK?

SerbiaMontenegrin government has been asking for FAA CAT I for nearly 1 year. TK only announced BEG as a destination early this year. JAT was wanting flights to JFK from early last year. In my opinion, this has nothing to do with Serbian Aviation Authorities giving problems to TK.Aerocroatia wrote:FAA is doing the same as Serbian Aviation authorities. Remember problems wich Serbian AA caused to Turkish Airlines a few months ago.
