Christof Verleysen dies in planecrash

Post by Tjipke »

Dear friends,

I have the very sad news to announce you the dead of one of my best friends and soulmate, Christof Verleysen, General Manager of N'Gong House in Nairobi and beloved son of Paul and Jessie. He was only 31 !
He took of at Wilson Airport ( Nairobi ) with our friend David Penrose from Royal African Safaris on sunday morning. During take off they had some engine problems but despite all efforts to turn back, they crashed near the runway and their plane caught fire.
Some of you might have known him from SABENA school or as bartender in the Pitchers for some time.
Let us keep him in our heart forever !

Goodbye, friend.
I'm afraid it's time to say farewell.
Farewell, friend.
It's so hard to let go.
Stay in my heart, friend, and remember me.
As I will always remember you.

In memory of Christof Verleysen. Rest in peace.

A lot of people might know him only by face (cfr Pitchers) and not by name, so a picture could be useful. Maybe then we can link his name to somebody we used to know.

Meanwhile my deepest sympathy goes out to his family and friends in these most difficult moments.

I am sorry TWA, but I do not know how to put a picture on this forum!
You can go to his website and find a picture of Christof and his dad, although this is an old picture.http://www.ngonghouse.com/
