Post by globetrotter »

Rumord that Buenos Aires service will end this year, some other unannounced places to go as well, Argentina is the only country they serve in the continent.

This will be at least the third time they have talked about dropping EZE .. maybe this time it will really happen . It would be a shame for MH as they are one of only a handful of airlines which serve all six inhabited continents ( the only other two I can think of are BA and SA ) but then again prestige is not as important as profit - so if it is not contributing to the bottom line it will need to be dropped .

MAS and Thai are in the same shoe: they aren't making money. They have to drop routes that are not performing for them. I didn't even know MAS fly to South America as I always thought JAL is the only Asian airline does. Anyway, expect some routes dropping from MAS and Thai in the near future.
