Algeria purchases 70 MIG-29s
Mosnews reports :
Russian aircraft constructor MiG has signed an $1,5-million agreement with Algeria and will deliver about 70 multifunctional MiG-29 fighter jets to the country within the next few years, the Interfax news agency reported.
Algeria will pay the sum by repaying the Russian state debt and transferring money directly.

Don't you mean : one and a half BILLION dollars?
yeah, sorry, it should indeed be 1.5 billion dollars, my mistake
,
if it was 1.5 million, I guess some enthousiast would consider to buy one too because then "you would only need to pay 21.429 dollars". wich is a fair price for what you would get
(instead of buying a new car, you buy a MIG: "honey.....I'm home,..with my new car"
)

This still has to be checked but it seems the Migs are actually going to be sold by Belarus and not Russia... Get that: the last dictatorship in Europe spreading its weapon systems around the EU. Not too sure I like that... the article (in Russian) said that Belarus had offered better prices and was ready to provide training, specific platforms and "advanced" weapon systems.

Since we have to accept that Turky is considered a European country (by our politicians) , and Israel plays in European sport leagues, I am not surprised at all that Algeria is now called "Europe".
In New Zealand they face the same problem where politicians say they belong to Asia.
Problem areas are e.g. the island of Ascencion. It is in the middle of nowhere. As Diego Garcia and Guam.
