Bluewings and the A332
I understand that Bluewings took on three Airbus A330-200 aircraft but have never used them and are currently stored at CGN. Is this true and where did they lease the aircraft from?

D-AXEL was previously D-AIMA with LH (and before that HB-IQL with Swissair, Novelair and Flightlease)
D-ARND was previously D-AIMB with LH (and before that HB-IQM with Swissair)
D-ARNO was previously D-AIMC with LH (and before that HB-IQN with Swissair)
I guess that Bluewings has not taken up (ntu) the planes and so they went back to lessor...

It's an total outrage that BlueWings let this plane so pine away, it's now stored for over a year...

I think it's such ashame that they're still on the ground ...
I wonder what the future will bring for those 3 A330s.
- go to another airline
- stand there for some other years
- or being scraped ...
Regards Tim
Ow and btw ... a paintjob and a mechanic can do allot
soo if one day SNBA can afford another 330 there they are ...

Hi!
I don't think they will in the first phase, with these three. The shedulled routes for CS-TOE and TOF are ORY, FOR and SSA. CS-TOG has not programmed flights so far.
When the A332 start arriving directly from Toulouse, the CCS service will certainly be upgraded to the new equipment, but for now, I'm guessing they will fly the A330's mainly to Northeastern Brazil and EWR.
