Airbus has received its A380 Evacuation trainer

The A380 Evacuation test originally scheduled for January may be held as early as February now that Airbus has received its trainer.

Now delayed further to March or April 2006

I believe this is goingo to be a challenge for Airbus. It is too many people, but then again, I believe there was the same concern years ago with the 747. Hope everything goes fine with the test. Thanks for the info!

yeah .... the 747 waas also delayed several years ago ... so dont worry 380 you will fly pax very soon

I don't think anybody is worried, just a lot of people wanted to get in on the evac test as volunteers. So keep tuned in things may change again.

There are so many doors on the A380, so i don't think this test will be a problem... furthermore they have planned a A389, no reason they would plan an even higher volume variant if they can't even pass the test with A388..

I agree. Airbus are unlikely to build a plane that cannot pass the tests.
