Hi,
this is interesting indeed. This press release could give you some idea about the numbers to deal with:
http://www.atwonline.com/channels/dataA ... cleID=1087
as well as the investor information of ILFC (currently unavailable in the Web) or GECAS might give you some datails (http://www.pkair.com/trends.asp). However, registrration seems necessary ( I am lazy ...)
http://www.gecas.com/financing.asp
good luck and if you find useful sources - I would be interested in reading them.

Monthly Lease costs are calculated as 1-1.5% of the current market value for the particular aircraft, maintenance reserves are added additionally to the monthly lease rate and the price depends on how many monthly hours the aircraft will fly. Deposits: Previously in the 90's, airlines only needed to put down the first and last months lease rental as a deposit, but these days, the leasing companies do things differently.
With all the bankrupcies, leasing companies can ask a new start-up airline to provide up to six months of deposits before they do a deal with you, but again, it all depends on how well your venture is capitalised, the more money you have, the better deal you'll get.
Lease rates: You'll find it hard to find prices on the internet because there is no set $ amount and it all depends on how old the aircraft is, what added extras the aircraft has, engine types, MTOW, PAX configuration, and its current maintenance condition, etc.
