As a matter of fact, it looks like FR flew straight into LGG and transfers have been organized.
Transfert for inbound LGG by bus to CRL.
Ok
But why no transfert form pax waiting in CRL to LGG (the plane was there!)
Period

planes that took off before knowing they could not land in charleroi landed in liege.

planes that knew it was impossible to land in charleroi _before_ take off were canceled.

Means FR is only using LGG when its absolutely necessary and will not use LGG everytime there is fog for 100% flights.

Why ? good question ...

Today, December 29th 2005, Charleroi airport had again to close because of fog.

It's the 8th time (!!) in 3 months.

4 planes landed in Liège.
Rest was canceled (no take off).

Ryanair announced a few times ago that they will expand in charleroi, with new destinations ... but this will increase the number of unhappy pax.
A transfert between Liège and Charleroi (only 45 min) SHOULD BE the priority of both Charleroi airport and Ryanair.

This is absolutely not good for the reputation of Charleroi, this is really too much. Charleroi may kisses their both hands that they have Ryanair.
