Cruise/Holmes family fleet?

Tom Cruise is said to be a pilot and own 3 planes, one of which is a Gulfstream. He is also said to be making a present to his bride Katie Holmes, of another Gulfstream. The plane is supposed to have a custom interior, and Tom is supposed to hire a pilot to fly her.

There are the news about airlines ordering planes to be delivered in 2011 et cetera. How long does it take to build a private plane?

Which (private) family has the largest number of members owning personal customized planes?

I'm sure the time it takes depends on the amount of money you are willing to spend on it. I'm positive that there is a possibility to have a rush order. Someone else will get their plane later then.

Regarding to who the question which family has the largest fleet: I think John Travolta's family would score very high on that one: his fleet includes a b707 (not sure, but I am sure it's something of that size), and a learjet, + said to have several other planes as well...

Who beats that?

I think it was said that Tom also was buying Katie a house near her mother´s home so that she could fly to her mother without him. No wonder that Tom does not want to fly Katie to his mother-in-law all the time...

And I just want to take the opportunity to make a little statement here:

If anyone is thinking about giving me a plane for christmass: sure do so, I'll be happy with it! I'm not difficult, it doesn't have to be a big one, and the interiour doesn't have to be customised. Don't even need a pilot either, I'll take lessons and fly it myself. Oh, and you don't have to buy an appartment near my parents home either...Jee, sounds like I'm easy to please!
