dream on guys, BRU is not a premium route for ETD just a convinient stop over (one of the few places in Europe that Emirates did not contest traffic rights !) and therefore they will continue to use the leased wrecks (with the crap IFE and crap seating) on the AUH-BRU-YYZ route,
That picture was taken on the flightline at Boeing Everett, Paine Field. After rolling ut of the factory bare, it goes to the fuel farm for fueling and leak testing, then to paint. Then to the flightline for ground engine runs, B1 and C1 flights...then delivery.
The flightline is a very busy place these days! At 7/month, they have to roll through the process quickly.

What do you mean by leased wrecks "website-info"]
BTW: I think the Etihad B773 is the nicest model in their fleet.
In fact those Boeing planes look already quite finished in their production/green c/s, or lack of c/s. I am rather surprised of how goor they look in natural finish.
Why not just paint the tail and put it into service.
I mean that A6-EYA & EYB are pieces of junk, the Buisness Class seats are falling aprt, the IFE equipment is so outta date that Fred Flintstone probably used it, where as their new aircraft which are to be used primarily on 'premium' routes (their words not mine) are much much better.
Oh and on a side note, on a recent flight announcement in ARabic/English & French, when I questioned why no Flemish or Dutch I was told that their marketing department had told the crews that French is the National language of Belgium...................... seems they really care about BRU enough to check simple things out .......
