Ethiopian Cargo change of a/c?
Hi,
Rumour goes that Ethiopian Airlines may be leasing a DC8 or DC10 soon for its operations to BRU in stead of flying their regular B75F, ETAJS if I am not mistaken. Anyone heard something similar?
Hasta,
Jade

Nothing heard about it, but it could be. The cargo served by ET is going very well. ET add more destinations ex-BRU in their timetable. They are flying even more then mentioned on the timetable of BIAC.
So, when Ethiopian will decide to use a bigger airplane for their services to BRU, let them come.

I have noticed that DAS Air Cargo operates some flights ex-BRU. Today there was again a DC10 of DAS Air cargo on the parking spot of Ethiopian Cargo.
Could it be that Ethiopian is using DAS Air for their cargo now? In that case we could see that nice bird in daytime at the airport.
Somebody more info about this?

I have a question about those flights of Ethiopian Cargo.
The scheduled cargo flights of Ethiopian Cargo are mostly early in the morning with their own B757-200. But they had always, almost from the beginning, additional cargo flights in the afternoon. Most of them were operated by a third party or even by Ethiopian itselfs. Why are those flights not mentioned on the cargo timetable of BIAC? Has somebody an answer for that?
Thanks in advance.
