As if things couldn't get any worse, they do.

Sorry for member "Walter" but his comments that things are not that bad in Africa seems to be a bit , ahum , right! Grounded planes mean no more flights, no more crashes as well.

If I may respectfully ask, what does lack of Fuel in Zim have to do with the rest of Africa? :? :? :? That is what my position has always been. This is not a parameter to judge the continent by Regi. I still stand by my comments that there is a lot of good in Africa.

Sincerely hope this was a joke. If it wasn't, then it should also apply to all those western airlines that have been involved in crashes!

FYI, Air Zim is back in the air after the fuel issues were resolved. There was a news article on that recently. Will check for a source and post back for thos interested (Regi, maybe this means Africa is back on its feet again right??) Oh boy :?

Cheers,

Walter

Africa, isn't that the place where delays are caused by lions resting in the shadow under the wings?

In such a case, it would not be called a delay but a free safari.

I fear that a lion might not make a good trophy after coming out of an engine...

There is nothing wrong with Africa ... only with our perception of it ...

I flew a lot of times with KQ and they are véry good ...

I don't see a problem neither with this Mugabe guy - please don't mix up things like the media do ...

I always admire that in some African countries they succeed absolutely normal operations desprite the difficult curcumstances ...

Thanks Danny ..... you've hit the nail on the head. I couldn't have said it better myself.

I only wish the perceptions of some people would be a little more objective

Cheers,

Walter.

All countries have good and back - i like walter say that there is more good in aviation in africa. As a former african i can say that the potential for aviation is also great in africa.
