Thx for all your compliments.
The story continuous: on November 5 some good opportunities for dot spotting.

Around 1651LT a nice sunlit A300-600 of Monarch was cruising W-wards in the sky
Image

Around 1658LT this cargo MD11 of China Eastern was heading NNE: for Beijing,
where are to moments of this bird @ EBBR...long ago.
Image

But one minute later, when seeing an SP, the hart beats a bit faster.
But sadly the Syrian plane was cruising at a non contrail level: destination as usual Heathrow.

On Nov 6, a very reasonable day for dot spotting, here is a grip.

Around 1356LT this AFR B747-400(F) was cruising NNE.
Image

Around 1625LT the silhouette of a VC-10 was cruising E: surely this must be the RAF.
Image

A contrailing Avro for Mr. Avro, this one going W around 1629LT.
Image

And finally, the very last sunrays @ 1702LT are catching this A330 of Monarch heading home.

Just a word...

Today Nov 8 conditions were excellent and here is another grip:

Tristars of American Trans Air are quite common sight, but I can't find any ACARS from them.
This one was heading W around 1212LT
Image

This B747-400 of JAL could be read-off around 1449LT: JA8914 enroute Tokyo-Paris.
Image

And finally, after Tristars and VC-10 of R.A.F., a Globemaster was nailed, heading W around 1615LT

He skystef,

Nice pictures.
I love those Japanese jets and they are not so difficult to spot in the air.
I spot them almost every day. They fly over my region 40 to 45 minutes prior to landing in CDG. You can see JL405 (B744), JL415 (B772), JL437 (B772) and NH205 (B744 ANA) and also KE901 B744 Seoul-CDG. If you are interested in the registrations you must visit this site (acars from Japan):

By the way, which camera do you use?

Greetings

Hello golf1411,

thx for your remarks & info.
Most registrations I find back via the ACARS of this link
The camera is a Canon300D

I've got a request: can anyone recognize this company, cruising W around 1635LT on Nov 6?

Image

Many thx in advance, S

Hello

Today I saw a red (or orange plane cruising over). It's not the first time I saw this one cruising over , but the bad luck wants that I never have my binoculars with me than , because It's when I'm on school in Antwerp. The plane only cruises over Antwerp (or near) :(

It's as I told red or (dark) orange...I taught about a VEX 737 but I think it's kind a weird , even if he cruises from AMS to BRU , its WAY TOO HIGH...(8000m or 24000ft) so it CAN'T BE...or does it? I would think VEX doesn't operates flights from AMS to sunny holiday destinations?

I taught also about a Sterling B737-800 because they have a red one too?
Since the plane is cruising from N to S/SE , but I can't confirm wetter it's a 300 or 800..so high.

Anyone who can solve this mystery?

Thanks in Advance and best regards: Yannick ;)

VEX operates flights from AMS to FCO : BRU-FCO-AMS-FCO-BRU rotations AFAIK.

Was it a partial red /orange colourscheme? I had an idea, but it's a partial coloured plane... Last time, I often saw the Qatar Airways A330, with the yellow/orange colours. It's a scheme to promote 'Doha 2006 - Asian Games'.

Hello

Glider: No it was definitely not the Gulf , I already saw that one so...it wasn't even a A330. It really was a 737 , but now that I know that VEX HAS A flight from AMS to the South (FCO) , would guess he would take another route than but...I guess that must be him than? Because It was not a SO long 737 , it might of course be that I've mistaken and that it IS a Sterling 738 to the South. But I think it's either of the two , so thanks for the replies guys.

Best regards:Yannick ;)

To make things easier perhaps a time of observation?
I saw that day a red B737 cruising S around 0800LT and it was the B737-800 of Sterling.

Today Nov 11, only a few small gaps in the cloud around sunset.

This BA 737-400 is one of few left in the special world c/s: Youm-al-Suc cruising W around 1655LT.
Image

Daily visitor a low cruising level: 777s of Kenya Airways, this one in o/c 5Y-KQU heading AMS @ 1656LT.

Hello

Skystef , If you saw him too , I guess it must have been the Sterling. Wauw!! what a good guess of me:P

Me and some fellow classmates (also airplane freaks) guessing for the airline , it seems I was right ;) Thanks for the reply

BTW , nice pictures again Skystef , some more interesting airplanes cruising over there on your location.

Best regards: Yannick ;)

On Sunday Nov 13 some good condition, here's a grip.

Around 1151LT this B747-400F of China Airlines was heading W: this could be B-18712.
Image

At 1351LT this Cathay Pacific B747-400 (B-HUA) was enroute CDG-HKG.
Image

And around 1442LT a First Choice B767-300 came along cruising W: this could be G-OOBK.
