Justplanes - a question

Post by CLW_aviator »

Hello,

Have you ever seen some of the Justplanes DVDs? I wanted to buy some of them and want to know which one is better, and why:
A330 of Brussels Airlines or A330 of Air France and whether on both DVDs you get detailed instrument presentation and an aircraft walkaround, because in Air France`s DVD it isn`t mentioned.

I also wanted to know whether on Justplanes` "The Big Apple" DVD you only get a chance to see airplanes taking off and landing or also the terminals from inside and f.e. the control tower from inside. This DVD is quite expensive for me (maybe in the US 69$ dollars is not much, but for me it really is) and I want to know whether this DVD is worth buying, as I am mainly interested in JFK`s inside views.

Please also tell me whether one can buy this DVDs at any airport in Europe and, if so, where? Is it possible in Luton or Gatwick (at the airport)? Maybe Hannover or Stuttgart?

Best regards, thanks for your help.

I have 5 DVD's, and I love them all. Al very nice and good quality. Not very expensive.

I don't have any airport DVD, maybe you better check www.worldairroutes.com were you can see some screenshots.

Those DVDs can be bought in the enthusiasts shop on the top of the car park in MAN, or in the much better shop in the Aviation Experience in Birmingham (BHX).

The SNBA DVD is very goog.
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.

Comet, about the shop you mention (at MAN Car Park), do they have a website, where I could find their prices?

Well, speaking about Paris, I couldn`t find English version of their website... so, I`d generally prefer England (for shopping).

You can also buy them online at www.simw.com.

Personally I have the SNBA A330 DVD and I love it. I also have the Sabena special edition box (3 DVD set) and also this box is outstanding.
Also ebay is a good source to find this kind of DVD's from time to time.

Cheers,

Karl

I haven’t had much good experience with justplanes at all.

When I bought there videos one of them didn’t show anything after 20 minutes and then I order some DVD from them and 2 out of the 4 doesn’t work after 30 minutes.
I have tried with lots of different DVD-players and checked the DVD for any scratches, but there are in fine condition.

Therefore ME my friend copy JustPlanes!

They never answered my mail, so I suppose they don’t care about there costumers.
