Air New Zealand 777
Just seen this picture of the first Air New Zealand 777-200ER, taken on delivery at Auckland. I think it looks fantastic.

You want to close down all US airlines as well thenCX wrote:Nevermind how good the plane is, the flight attendants are all so old and ugly... with some big maorie guys in there too..... Not offending anyone but a flight attendant should be rather slim and eye-pleasing as well as providing the good service...

oh dear oh dear , I assume you are joking , but if not , what century are you living in ? In the event of an emergency I would rather have a big Maori guy opening the emergency exit and throwing me out the door than have a slim eye-pleasing person who is still struggling with the door as we all asphyxiate .
Qantas is a bit better I have to admit. But their translators (on Asian flights), I have encountered it for some 6 times in the past few years, they are a bit hopeless... you can never hear what they say!
As for 'in emergency', why said an eye-pleasing/slimmer person cannot open a door?
Well anyway let's not Off Topic... it's just my experience and what I heard from friends on ANZ... They are upgrading the cabin and I hope everything will improve so I will have another direct flight choice back home every year!

And the food on ANZ is quite disgusting.
Why do you think the NZ crew are so old and ugly?
I have seen the sister 'plane to this at CHC I must say I was impressed with it all; I have flown on a B777 from BKK leaving from a remote stand, that gives you a real good idea of the size, but, it seemed different' I suppose it changes things when you see an a/c in your airlines colours for the first time
