I visited Florennes today for the second to last day of the TLP. The weather was stunning nearly clear skies, with a reasonably strong wind. The 2 A-10A's were the aircraft that I was looking forward to the most having never seen one "live" before, and they didn't disappoint by one racing towards the end of the runway very low the pulling a high G climb and a semi barrel roll at the top simply fantastic stuff, highlighting the outstanding agility of the A-10.

Hello,
Great pictures all
I see you also had a nice day today at the spottersday. We were also at Florennes today but outside the base, at RWY26-side for takeoffs and RWY08 for landings, and also had a great day with sunny weather.
It was also remarkable that one of the USAF A-10 crew came to the spotters standing outside the base in the landing area, to sell some patches to the spotters. It's the first time I saw something like that, really appreciated it.
So this was the last day of TLP at Florennes for this year, I hope the TLP's next year will bring us back interesting aircraft as good as this year or maybe even better 8) .
Our pictures will also follow in the near futur

it's rare indeed to see crew of BAF or TLP participators come to the spotters to sell patches, pics, cd's or other stuff, but it happened before ; i bought a cd of 350sqn not that long ago while i was spotting along the fence at Corenne, and i know crew/personnel of 1sqn somethimes do this "public relation" also
i think this can be interpreted as a positive interaction/appreciation between AF personnel and spotters
