Post by snowbird »

It was there to pick up relief goods for the victims of the earthquake in Pakistan and India.

The arrival of this bird at EIN was announced 2 or 3 days earlier.

A Few questions about sizes:

-What is the biggest plane ever : The An225 or the A380 ?

-What is the longuest plane ever: the A340-600, a380 or the an-225 ?

Mama Mia! Even more impressive than the A380 in terms of size. I saw a documentary on TV not that long ago about the An-225 and the noise those 6 engines make is like a thunderstorm.

Truly amazing Russian engineering.

Can one of the "webteam" please explain why these words "Antonov An-225 'Mriya'" are allowed to remain in the title when other spotting reports are restricted to airport code and date only and get locked for containing other words in the title?

First of all: we only lock double topics Comet, second: as an aviation enthusiastic you should know that an Antonov An-225 'Mriya is a very special and unique plane you don't see every day. So this topic is mainly about the Mriya, normal planes mentioned in the title will be removed.

Besides: "Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her"
