Bellview B732:
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/943152/L/

This is a more realistic picture compared to the one on CNN's site.

Sad to see another B732 gone :( My thoughts are with the victims families.

Sad incident for B3. They had built a reputation over the period as one of the safe and reliable airlines in West Africa.

Here's a little article about their history:

it's sad to see another crash this year, what I do notice is the fact that the majority of the crashes are 737's (probably cause there are flying more of them and are older...)

Vlaamse Televisie Maatscahpij ..... great station. Was one of my favourites.

If there are survivors, that would be great news. There were a number of Nigerian dignitaries on boards as well.

Cheers,

Walter.

Walter, you can watch every VLM-news online, untill one week after broadcasting:

http://www.vtm.be/nieuws/index_bekijkonline.htm

then look fot the day

then select time (13h, 19h or laat)

then click on breedband or modem

usually, the news is online 1 to 2 hours after it was on TV.

Don't they (Bellview) have a 767 flying to London?

Good news about the survivors!

The government now says there are no survivors of the plane crash. Both the Red Cross and a filming crew confirm there are no survivors.

They have a 762ER that does the LHR & Mumbai flights. The LHR flights are via Freetown.

A Large explosion preceded the crash, cause as yet unknown.

Total loss of life, contrary to the BBC report previously posted.

I hope it wasn't an explosive device smuggled on board the aircraft. It has ruined an otherwise unblemished safety record for B3.

Information coming from Nigeria is totally unreliable, even from the official government spokesman (m/f).
