Egyptair will resume service form Cairo to Beijing on Oct 30th after a 2 year hiatus. The airline will operate 4 flights a week via Bangkok using its Boeing 777-200 ; departing Cairo on Tue/Thu/Fri/Sun and Beijing on Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat.
BKK will see an increase in service to 4 weekly flights up from 2 weekly .
Egypt Air will also increase flights to JFK during the winter season to 5 weekly using their B772 .
They usually operate 5 flights/week in the summer then reduce it to 4 weekly in the winter.
There are rumours that MS wants to fly daily to JFK as the route is doing very well.

They received 5 A332 in 2005 , and waiting for 2 others to be delivered .
They will have 15 long-haul Aircraft in total that will allow them to fly anywhere they want .
7 A332
5 B772
3 A342
They are also looking at expanding their long-haul destinations to include
Houston and Hong Kong .
time for a silly remark:
looking at the amount of egyptian shoarma shops in Antwerp, Belgium, we may asume that Egypt air will launch daily connections to Deurne Airport as well.

LOL , if it works that way , then Egypt Air should operate 3 daily to YYZ :lickout:
Let's leave shawerma aside , now Egypt Air may launch 2 new long-haul destinations next year after the arrival of 2 more A332 in February . They are looking at the possibility of launching Houston ad Hong Kong .
