SN Brussels Airlines soon to America?

Hi all,

just noticed that on SN BA's website they have a job vacancy for an 'Account Executive Sales New York'.

I was wondering if this means they'll start selling tickets soon from and to America. Or are they already? (not yet through their booking engine on the site however).
Does anyone know more on the code share agreement with American Airlines and the possible destinations beyond Chicago? Has the uncertain future of AA an effect on this agreement?

Hi ,

I think that the only reason why they are searching for a
'Account Executive Sales New York' is that they want to promote
the African Network.

Someone from SNBA has told me that the african network is profitable
and the european network isn't

Tell me if I'm wrong

You are probably right. The AA codeshare is to Chicago, not New York. It should start some time in the summer.

Let’s hope than that AA’s problems will be solved before the summer season.
