Wauw! really nice to see this big bird with a Singapore tail!
If I'm not mistaken all of these foto's are of three different planes!: MSN002, MSN003 and MSN006.
So I guess they already have already 5 A380 in construction for the moment!
Isn't it a risk for Airbus to already manufacture these planes since the A380 is not yet totally certified?

You can't wait until certification is granted to start industrial production. It takes months, if not years.
What do you do with your suppliers, subcontractors, engineers, mechanics and buildings? Pay them for doing nothing? Stop paying them but expect them to remain available for your project?
Modern techniques (i.e. computer design) have litterally removed the big awful surprises you discover during ground/flight testing. That doesn't mean there is no surprises (obviously).
If there's a serious flaw in the design, Airbus will take care of it. I'm sure there's even a line for that in their budget.

Not so easy.Bruspotter wrote:Hello
I taught singapore only starts it services at late 2006....but I guess it must have been wrong info? :s
Because it looks that he will be ready early in the year 2006.(JAN, FEB, MAR...)?
Best regards: Yannick
They must have the certification, the tests of the airframe, the interior must be placed, the crew must be trained......
End 2006 is reasonable
I'm guessing they have more than 5 in construction, since 5 are structuraly complete... 10 may be more like it, in various fases of construction...waldova wrote:Wauw! really nice to see this big bird with a Singapore tail!
