Is it to thank Qantas who's celebrating their xxth birthday?
And to make them pick some A350s in return?
Yes well has been invited along for the 85th birthday bash. Airbus officials have been in australia recently to organise the task of getting the beast in here....no doubt also to push QF to order the a345/6. Still waiting on the official word from QF what they have ordered but all the talk and speculation has been around boeing at this stage.
the dates for the a380 are unclear at this stage for sydney and melbourne but for brisbane is around the 14th to 16th
well if this pushes QF to order some A345/6, it is a good investment to fly the beast to Australia, and imo there must be some deals already done or else why would Airbus fly 3 cities in just one country instead of flying to large hubs like Hong Kong??

No deal has been done as yet, QF weren't happy with airbus pushing back the delivery date so i take it airbus is doing this as a good will gesture and also to get some testing in no doubt.
Dates have been revised for the cities seems to change every two minutes so don't know if this is the final decision.
Brisbane 9th nov
Sydney 10th nov
Melbourne 11th nov
Wow this will be well cool.
I wonder if I'll be able to go to have a look at this beasty up close in Bris?
Wednesday at this stage? Hmm might have to make an excuse *cough*...
CX those dates are what i've been told at this stage and have changed and everyone down here is still trying to figure out when
About the a380, is coming to australia in the standard airbus c/s, so i imagine the same for singapore then in australia before it leaves for dubai is receiving emirates decals so i've been told.
