Herpa 1:500 A319 Sn brussels Airlines available for sale?

Post by Vinnie-Winnie »

Hi all,

I have been planning to buy the Sn Brussels Airlines fleet all at once (rj100, A319, A332) but it seems like Herpa doesn't make the A319 yet...

Is this true? :?: :?:

I have seen a few people putting the A319 on their wish list so does anyone know if it is gonna be released at some point soon?

Thanks! :)

Too bad it hasn't been for sale or released yet.

I already have the A332 and the Avro.

Hope they will release it soon.

Greetings
Mark

Hi all,

thanks for sharing my pain! I just e-mailed Herpa to ask if they would release one any time soon.

Let's just wait and see! :P

I will keep you posted once I get an answer!

Totally forgot to tell U that i actually got a reply! Not looking good!!! They didn't actually reply to my specific question though so I will ask more specifically about the Sn Brussels Airlines model!

Here is the answer I received:

thank you very much for your interest in our Herpa Wings die cast miniature models, 1/500 scale and your suggestions.

We appreciate to read about our clients‘ point of view on our models. That supports our efforts to maintain the high quality and broad range of our products. Thus, we will try to include your suggestions in our future plans as much as possible.

Sometimes we don’t get the permission of the Airlines or the license is to expensive or other reasons don’t allow us to produce models.

Thank you very much for your support, and have a pleasant time with our Herpa Wings models.

Looks like the standard "too lazy to look into this" answer :)

For those still looking for Sabena material: try the 747-129 and a Airbus A-320 by Gemini Jets 1:400.

Starjets had some great Sabenastuff too. I think Herpa is more looking into the yesterday series, soo actually we might better go for a Convair prop in 1:200 if you ask me...

Hi Merijn!

Sorry for not replying earlier unfortunately never saw your post!

Well no actually not too keen on old stuff!!! Don't have particular great memories of Sabena so that's why i only want to buy recent planes! :P

The second e-mail I sent to Herpa, where I actually mentioned the Luchtzak community, got no-where since I never received any reply! :?

Shame...

In the meantime I'm gonna order the A330 and the rj100 from scalemodel shop! Would like to add a few other planes which come regularly to brussels but don't know which ones yet! :)

About the petition well good idea although paper petitions usually have much more impact! 8O

Oh finally got one Sabena model: The A340-200
