Do you have to book your ticket before?

If it's like two years ago, the tickets are purchased in the hanger on the day itself.

BTW you don't need to go to the terminal. The boarding for the flights are taking place outside the hangar.

Indeed, ticketing and boarding will be like 2 years ago: tickets will be sold on the day itself in the hangar for 35€ on a first-come first-served base. When you book your ticket in the hangar, they will tell you the exact boarding time. Boarding is in the hangar itselves where all necessary security checks will be done before you can go airside (also like 2 yrs ago).

It's very advisable to come early in the morning to be sure of tickets.
Enjoy your flight ;-)

Will the hangar doors be kept open this time or will they again be closed like the previous time?

It was quite disappointing to have these doors shut, because you miss out on airport atmosphere. However I understand that there are security (and thus also financial) issues involved in having these doors open.

The hangar will again be closed as last time for security reasons. (inside hangar = landside for 1 day, outside hangar at tarmac side = airside)

What aircraft are participating in the "static display" :?:

Probably both the A319 and the AVRO will again take part.

Will there be an additional new element compared to the 2003 edition :?:

Perhaps VEX may have a representation this time :?:

I'm sorry, I'm not in favour of telling this to all of you :dammit:

There will be some extra things iso previous edition, but it's up to you to come over to our hangar to discover this :frantic:

For the A319 fans: be sure to be in the hangar during the afternoon (sssst, I didn't say a word..) :censored:

I think i'll be there at 08AM...2 years ago there were already a lot of people at bout 08H30....as I'm living in Nossegem, this is not really a problem for me.

Everyone that's leaving in the neighboorhood: mail me if you want to go with me.

Why couldn't this have been on 11th September, or sometime between 6th and 14th September? I missed the first one by a month, and the same for this one :(

The reason is simple. The event is organised on a special opendoor day in Belgium. There will be a lot of companies which will do events like this one. It's not SN who choses the dates !!!

Because when we booked the holiday we knew nothing of the open door event

And I am next in Brussels in November - one month too late but will be a superb visit nevertheless!

Yes it, take the train to Vilvoorde, and then wait in front of the train station for the 821 or 820 nr bus to Zaventem, then make sure to tell the driver to drop you of at the start of the Brucargo park, you should then just follow the mass i guess :)

good luck, might have a look myself on sunday

Hi all,

Can anybody please post the registrations of the aircraft that will operate the SN flights on Sunday, once the info is available?

Thanks
